The road out of jail is filled with changing doorlocks

 Once you have seen the bars and accepted them , any solution to escape can look good . The trick is to convince the people they are not only under great threat from outside , but that you as the leader  know a way out.
Use your imagination and think of a threat that spells big disaster but  where no-one knows how to control it. Man made threats are no good because we can sus out conspirators , clumsiness  , coverups and corruption without much trouble .  Environment is complex and resilient ,so after a while the problem will go away or resolve itself  without your help,   
So all you have to do is be up to date  and follow the motions and you can come out on top and look like saviors.
Environmental threats are good friends to the incompetent   because they not only don't rely on competency , they are capable of fixing themselves,.  


To do this for  a long 20 months also requires regular changing of the bed sheets if not changing the rooms on the way out .
Noone in prison though can put up with the same threatand same bars and doorways  for more than a few months .
Andrews made his job easier by naming the threat as evil and fearsome - there will be lots of deaths and we must go in hard to stop them . By not naming the deaths the bedsits and the comorbidities  for 18 mths any body  who wants confirmation of actual death threats haven't got anything to go on.
we end up sitting on our arses trying to keep our distance, 
and we have all these contradictions 

- people were allowed to go to the football but not to meet in their own homes ,I said early in blogs in 2020  that skin and oil  particles in the air could be implicated in maintaining the life of the RNA , let alone elements of the biomed its unique comp actability .Life in he ducts you silly ducks !

Building new facilities is an expensive quickfiz idea that has thankfully come and gone . When the epis ,admins and the micros finally work out how to best manage hospitals, they might have some chance of managing new ones ( quickfiz again by the dan and his concubine clan !) 
J Doherty confirmed this when he replied to my question a week or so ago about updated understanding of coronaviruses--its  tendency to keep changing ( known since the 1920's   great diagram but little new.
I wonder what Doherty said to Dan  because the change of tactic to living with the virus came about then . 
You never know what shallow simplicities occupy the minds of polys. Must have something to do with the confusion, lights and action  while they keep busy splashing in the birdbath?  

-- the biggest mistake made early on with quarantine is not analyzed by anybody . All the reactionaries know now is that there must be something in the recirculating air . Maybe we could all have met in our own home if we switched the air con recirculating bits OFF  ,  you can't expect these dills  to deal with complex questions when they never consider anything but really simple stand alone ones 
So ignorant are they of their own "takes one to know one" and quickfiz  that  they now recently  talk about the savior of ventilation .Melbourne  university used to have some thoughtful people go to it .

We do not want to hear more of their speculation on how to get out again.
 We want them to stop messing with our lives with their overblown worries and that growing raft of "new" measures that will take more months to test . Guinea pigs is what we are .

The Premiers free ride was made possible by low numbers , reinforcing his own theory that he must be doing something right . There is nothing deep here - just long and lucky for him .
Now that his key strategy of going in hard and heavy FINALLY hasn't worked he's got to be the first to change direction again; New doors ,
 A free ride till this month when numbers grow to over 500 presence tests in a day .

The new door is  named vaccination  and the strategy is changed from nailing the disease to living with it . Vaccination is not expected to eliminate as the original aim was , but to provide a door name , 

So now Andrews can blame the Prime Minister, he's so relieved. He can't find a way of extending his attention seeking just now and. more importantly he is likely to lose the next election, whatever he says. Short term gain long term pain 
 Noone cannot have noted  that Dan the man change direction this week ( and tried to say the umbers changed his mind)  ,
Andrews abandonment of his chasing down policy to one of running and living with that " evil thing" shows how big the demon is when you try manage it with your own cleverness  

Andrews is trying hard still to sound hard by saying  some similar  things - that the threat is huge ;  What ducking and weaving children we have in charge . 
We won't have 4000 people in hospital and 2000 deaths but from today ( sept 19th )  it won't be Dan's problem . Burnet will be the target. 
  A clean exit for Dan  but will press work out why? Any scientist knows modeling is the new word for legitimated muddling but most of the public don't have any idea of what we are talking about
